By accessing or using Tranzia ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Tranzia provides AI-powered transit routing recommendations with safety assessments based on historical crime data, environmental factors, and other publicly available information. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

3. CRITICAL DISCLAIMERS

3.1 No Guarantee of Safety

TRANZIA DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOUR SAFETY. Safety scores are estimates based on historical data and environmental factors. Real-time conditions may vary significantly. Crime can occur anywhere at any time, regardless of our safety ratings.

3.2 Not a Substitute for Personal Judgment

Our recommendations are informational tools only. You must use your own judgment and remain aware of your surroundings at all times. Do not rely solely on our safety scores when making travel decisions.

3.3 Data Limitations

Safety scores are based on historical data that may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. We cannot account for all factors affecting safety, including but not limited to: ongoing incidents, construction, weather, special events, or individual circumstances.

3.4 Emergency Services

In case of emergency, always call local emergency services (911 in the US). Do not rely on Tranzia for emergency assistance.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 No Liability for Harm

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRANZIA, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Personal injury, death, or property damage
  • Theft, assault, or any criminal activity
  • Missed connections or delays
  • Emotional distress or mental anguish
  • Loss of data or service interruptions
  • Any other damages arising from use of the Service

4.2 Maximum Liability

If any liability is found despite the above limitations, our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (whichever is less).

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tranzia and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any harm or injury resulting from your travel decisions

6. User Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account (if applicable)
  • You agree not to misuse the Service or use it for illegal purposes
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
  • You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
